Moulded pulp is made to food containers and cutlery, also is made to industrial cushion packaging, which is developing very fast in recent years.



The primary function of the moulded pulp is hold and protect the products.The moulded pulp packaging should protect the contained products stably, should protect the products won’t damage during transportation, assemble and use. The pulp should meet the requirements of strength, stiffness and stability. The raw material of the pulp should be safe to the products and they won’t interact each other.

Convenient to use, that’s to say the structure of the moulded pulp should be humanized. The structure and shape should not harm human body, suitable to handle and carry during usage.

 

The moulded pulp prolonged relevant time and absorb outside energy through its personal special structure during loading.It’s different from the foam and plastic packaging on buffer mechanism. The packaging made by foam is full of compressible cells inside the materials. No matter what shape it is, the foam has a very good buffer performance. If make a plate using moulded pulp material and foam material, it’s obviously that the former is buffered and the latter is not.

To moulded paper packaging, perfect structure design is the fundamental guarantee of protecting the products, enhancing the cushioning ability during transportation and carry. The structure performance will influence the strength, stiffness, stability and practicability of the packaging, namely the structure of the moulded pulp will affect its packaging function directly.
